Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for our Midland, TX manufacturing site. This hands‑on role verifies that satellite components meet aerospace standards during in‑process and final inspections, supporting production and engineering with precise documentation.

You will read technical drawings, review supplier documentation, and uphold QMS policies while collaborating with Quality Engineers and cross‑functional teams. Training is provided, with relocation offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in technical or engineering field preferred.
• Experience applying QA principles, methods, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies using drawings, CAD models, and work instructions to verify conformance to requirements.
• Conduct detailed final inspections on finished goods including FAI and supplier documentation reviews.
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances following quality procedures.
