Job summary

SQA Services is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector – Composites Level II to perform in-process, final, and FAI inspections of aerospace composite parts at supplier sites. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, layup documentation, and AS9100/AS9102 quality systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on inspection experience with carbon fiber, fiberglass, honeycomb, and bonded assemblies, plus GD&T and precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct aerospace composite inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings and layup charts.
• Experience with AS9100/AS9102 quality systems.
• Proficient use of precision inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final, and FAI inspections per AS9102.
• Inspect aerospace composites and machined components; identify defects.
• Review NDT, traveler paperwork, cure reports, and material traceability.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Communicate nonconformances and de-escalate conflicts when needed.
