Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team in South Windsor, CT. You will ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and use precision tools to inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, familiarity with QA systems (HACCP, CGMP, QA/QC), and experience with calipers or CMM; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM to perform accurate measurements.
• Analyze inspection results and document findings according to procedures.
• Implement and maintain QA protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Assist in development and improvement of quality systems to enhance product quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and calibrate equipment as required.
• Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures.
