Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for 1st shift onsite in East Hartford, CT. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections per procedures, working from drawings and using precision instruments to verify part dimensions and tool accuracy.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of inspection experience. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to work onsite, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of inspection experience.
• Able to read drawings and use precision measuring equipment.
• Proficient with vernier calipers, height gauges and indicators.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using standard methods and instructions.
• Plan and perform inspections on parts, tools, gauges and equipment from drawings.
• Use fixed/variable measuring instruments to verify dimensions and record results.
• Follow procedures for in-line checks and dimension verifications, ensuring sheets are followed.
• Identify when repairs or replacements are needed for equipment.
