Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a responsible Final Inspector for a full-time, 1st shift position in Westborough, MA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of inspection experience, preferably in aerospace, and be able to perform first piece inspections and use precision measuring equipment.

You will interpret blueprints, verify correct sheets, operate CMMs and other tools, document measurements, and report non-conformities. Overtime may be required; high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inspection experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Ability to read blueprints and operation sheets.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece inspections as required.
• Plan and perform inspections to check dimensions and dimensional relationships.
• Verify correct operation sheet is used and meets blueprint requirements.
• Use CMMs, optical comparators, sine plates, indicators, micrometers, V-Blocks, verniers, parallels, height stands, etc.
• Return part to operator and ensure proper gauging and inspection equipment.
• Complete paperwork and documentation of dimensions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
