Triumph Group is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform final, first piece, and in-process inspections on aerospace jet engine components. The role emphasizes adherence to Triumph Group and customer specifications, using precision inspection tools to uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read complex aerospace drawings, apply geometric tolerancing, maintain meticulous documentation, and train others in inspection methods while ensuring compliance with all applicable

Formación

• Requires High School or Technical School Diploma; Associate degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Technology is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect final, source, and in-process parts to ensure quality and conformance.
• Maintain quality documentation including Material Certifications, AS9102 First Article Reports, IMS, and First Piece Inspections.
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints and tolerancing.
• Use micrometers, bore gauges, gages, borescopes, sine plates and indicators to measure parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend parts or replacements to improve operations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Train other inspectors or operators in inspection methods.
• Ensure compliance with Triumph Group policies and federal/state regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers.
