Job summary

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with an aerospace manufacturer in East Aurora, is seeking Quality Control Inspectors to join the team. The role ensures all inspections are completed and documented in accordance with policies and forms before product release.

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd. Responsibilities include final product inspection, adherence to procedures, nonconforming material reporting, equipment calibration, and participation in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Inspection.
• Experience reading inspection processes and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Expertise with gauges and inspection equipment.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn manufacturing software.
• Experience with ISO9000 or AS9100 quality systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use and interpret work instructions to ensure conformity of product.
• Performs final inspection of the product.
• Ensure all assigned inspections are properly completed and documented prior to releasing products.
• When necessary, create nonconforming material reports.
• Performing analysis, inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of products or components identified as non-conforming.
• Maintain inspection equipment, ensuring calibration and good working condition.
• Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare accepted product for use by labeling status and printing unique device identification labels as necessary.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
