Parallel Employment Group in partnership with an aerospace manufacturer in East Aurora is seeking Quality Control Inspectors. The role ensures all inspections are completed and documented per policy before product release.

1st and 2nd shifts offered with pay $18.50-$24.50 per hour, located in East Aurora, NY. Responsibilities include interpreting work instructions, performing final inspections, maintaining calibration of equipment, and generating nonconforming material reports when needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Inspection.
• Experience reading inspection processes and interpreting drawings.
• Proficiency with gauges and inspection equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ISO9000 or AS9100 is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Use and interpret work instructions to ensure conformity of product.
• Performs final inspection of the product.
• Ensure inspections are properly completed with documentation prior to release.
• Create nonconforming material reports when necessary.
• Analyze, inspect, troubleshoot and test non-conforming products.
• Maintain inspection equipment within calibration cycles and good condition.
• Identify areas for improvement and participate in CI projects.
• Label approved products and apply UID labels as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

In this role the Quality Inspector ensures all assigned inspections are properly completed and documented in compliance with established policies and procedures and corresponding inspection forms and reports are properly executed prior to releasing products for use.

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd shift Pay Rate $18.50 to $24.50

Responsibilities

• Use and interpret work instructions and associated documents to ensure conformity of product.
• Performs final inspection of the product.
• Ensure all assigned inspections are properly completed in compliance with established policies and procedures and corresponding inspection records, reports, and forms are properly executed prior to releasing products.
• When necessary, create nonconforming material reports.
• Performing analysis, inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of products or components identified as non-conforming during an in-process and final inspection.
• Maintain inspection equipment, ensuring that it is used within the calibration cycle, and is in good working condition.
• Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare accepted product for use by appropriately labeling product to indicate status and printing unique device identification labels as necessary.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Inspection role
• Proficient in all aspects of inspection including using and maintaining all inspection equipment
• Experience with reading inspection processes and interpreting engineering drawings required
• Expertise in the application and use of gauges and inspection equipment
• Strong communication, organizational, documentation and time management skills
• Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of the Quality team and other cross-functional teams as required
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn various manufacturing software systems
• Experience with ISO9000 or AS9100 Quality Systems a plus
