Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Inspector to support aerospace manufacturing in a Space Flight System environment. You will perform inspections on aircraft components, verify QMS compliance, and document NCRs/NRIs.

Ideal candidates have aerospace inspection experience and an FAA A&P certification, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting in Mesa, AZ.

Qualifications

• Aerospace inspection or aviation quality experience.
• Experience inspecting with standard inspection tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality processes and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Active FAA A&P certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft components.
• Verify work per Manufacturing Work Instructions and QMS requirements.
• Inspect components for defects and dimensional accuracy.
• Document inspection findings and generate NCRs and NRIs when required.
• Review work orders and records for accuracy prior to release for service.
• Ensure rejected or non-repairable parts are tagged, identified, and quarantined.
• Communicate inspection results with engineering, production, and management teams.
• Participate in safety investigations, hazard reporting, and root-cause corrective actions.
• Maintain FOD awareness and follow safety and quality requirements.
