Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a Quality Inspector for the third shift to uphold our high standards in aerospace manufacturing. You will dimensionally inspect parts, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineers to resolve non-conformances.

Formación

• Minimum three years manufacturing QA dimensional inspection experience.
• Prefer two years aerospace industry experience.
• Experience using a wide range of inspection equipment and basic layout techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Dimensionally inspect parts at in-process and final inspection stages using measuring devices.
• Perform visual inspections and identify non-conformances with engineers.
• Interpret blueprints to follow general dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.
• Gather and analyze in-process and final inspection data.
• Provide timely feedback to QM based on inspection data.
• Assist with process and inspection improvement projects.
• Perform in-process and final inspection on parts.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformances.
• Learn and apply quality system procedures and safety standards.
