Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking an Inspector for 3rd shift (10pm–7:30am, Mon-Thu with alternating Friday) to ensure high-quality manufacturing output. You will inspect parts using precision tools, identify non-conformances with engineers, and support continuous improvement while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires blueprints interpretation, GD&T knowledge, and strong detail orientation, with proficiency in Word/Excel and a proven ability to multi-task

Qualificações

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience as a quality assurance dimensional inspector.
• Prefer 2 years in aerospace industry.
• Experience with a wide range of inspection equipment and mechanical inspection.
• Read, interpret blueprints and drawings; pass annual vision test.
• Utilize measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, Magna-mics.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines; proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Dimensionally inspect parts at in-process and final stages using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, Magna-mics.
• Perform visual inspections and identify non-conformances with engineers.
• Interpret blueprints to follow general dimensioning and tolerancing specifications.
• Gather and analyze in-process and final inspection data.
• Provide timely feedback on inspection data to QM and participate in improvement projects.
• Perform in-process and final inspections and report non-conformances.
• Learn and apply quality system procedures and adhere to safety standards.
