Job summary

Barnes Aerospace Ogden division is seeking an Assembler to perform skilled bench work using hand tools and machinery to bring customer parts to specification. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints.

Safe, efficient production and quality are essential. The position operates on 2nd shift (6:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Thu with alternating Friday off) and involves drilling, riveting, and assembling parts, using measuring tools for conformance, and signing off on work orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drill, rivet and assemble parts to close tolerance.
• Operate hand tools and machinery to meet customer specifications.
• Use calibrated measuring devices to verify part conformance.
• Interpret prints and process sheets to perform layouts and operations.
• Complete and sign work orders documenting operations performed.
• Maintain safety standards and collaborate with engineers and quality personnel.
