Triumph Group in the United States is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform final, first piece, and in-process inspections on aerospace jet engine components. You will ensure products meet Triumph and customer requirements and uphold safety policies.

The role requires hands-on use of precision measurement tools, reading aerospace blueprints, and adherence to AS9100 quality management standards. You will work on the second shift with a 15% shift premium, collaborating with suppliers and internal

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Technology a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years in quality inspection/machining (final, source and in process inspection) in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gauges, micrometers, borescopes, and other measuring tools.
• Experience with quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports preferred.
• Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry to solve problems and calibrate equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Assures product quality and manufacturing accuracy by properly using inspection equipment.
• Maintains product quality documentation by keeping accurate records and files, such as Material Certifications and First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102).
• Reads and interprets aerospace blueprints and geometrical tolerancing.
• Uses standard inspection measurement equipment such as micrometers, gauges, and indicators; may involve chemicals and solvents.
• Troubleshoots equipment and makes recommendations for replacement parts and equipment.
• Collaborates with suppliers to resolve problems and improve quality.
• Trains other inspectors or operators in inspection methods.
