Job summary

GE Aerospace's Cincinnati Aviation Component Service Center is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections of engine components, ensuring compliance with FAA manuals and regulations and supporting release to service.

You will conduct functional tests, verify test setups, maintain records, and quote repairs as needed, while guiding teammates and addressing quality concerns; HS diploma or GED and 2 years’ aircraft hardware experience required; shift duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience handling aircraft hardware.
• Must be at least 18 years old by start date; ability to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in process and final visual and dimensional inspection duties per FAA manuals and regulations.
• Perform functional tests on aircraft components and generate release to service certifications as required.
• Maintain necessary and pertinent records and perform related duties; map work scope and data sheets for components.
• Direct, train, or instruct others as required; be point of contact for all quality concerns.
