Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Kent, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of machined aerospace parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and work instructions. The role involves documenting approvals/non-conformances, communicating with teams, and potentially training in CMM inspections.

Candidates need a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and at least 6 months of inspection experience in aerospace or related fields.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Associate degree or similar post-secondary or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 6 months of inspection experience for machined parts/assemblies; aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Determines and utilizes inspection methods and instruments to complete in-process and final inspection of machined aerospace parts and assemblies.
Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements.
Suggests and supports process improvements to increase inspection effectiveness and efficiency.
Communicates with internal/external personnel to identify root causes and address non-conformances and rework.
May receive training to perform CMM inspections under supervision.
Regular on-site attendance is required.
