Job summary

GE Aerospace’s Cincinnati Aviation Component Service Center seeks an Inspector to perform incoming, in-process and final inspections on aircraft components. You will test, verify, and document results, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and generating releases to service as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in aircraft hardware inspection, and willingness to work shifts; a FAA Repairman license is advantageous. Safety gear is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years’ experience handling aircraft hardware.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection across the Service Shop per FAA manuals and regulations.
• Perform functional tests on aircraft components and generate release to service certifications.
• Verify test setups and record keeping; map work scope and data sheets.
• Direct, train, or instruct others as required and quote repairs.
