Job summary

Eaton's Beltsville, MD manufacturing facility is seeking an Inspector - 2nd Shift to ensure welded, machined, and formed parts meet stringent internal, customer, and industry specs. Core hours are 3pm – 11pm, Monday–Friday, in a busy aerospace-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, interpreting blueprints and GD&T, documenting findings, and coordinating with QA. A high school diploma and 1 year of manufacturing experience are required; ITAR compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
• ITAR: U.S. person required; immigration sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Visually and manually inspect parts per acceptance criteria and work orders.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and inspection results (CMM, Keyence, FARO) per criteria.
• Document findings, generate non-conformance reports, and initiate Fast Response.
• Complete 5S+ in the working area and participate in training/certifications.
• Perform additional Quality-related functions as necessary.
