Job summary

Eaton Aerospace in Irvine, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector for 1st shift. You will perform receiving, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace components and assemblies to ensure conformance with drawings and quality specifications.

The role requires at least three years in aerospace quality inspection, with GD&T and AS9102 familiarity. You will review paperwork, generate inspection reports, and use calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators in a safety-focused

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of three years in aerospace quality inspection.
Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA (92618).
U.S. person status is required due to export regulations.
Experience with AS9102 first article inspection is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect receiving, in-process and final aerospace components for conformance to drawings and specs.
Review paperwork and prepare inspection reports to accept or reject parts.
Record measurements with calipers, micrometers and other gauges.
Utilize optical comparators and GE/ASME GD&T requirements as needed.
Ensure compliance with DFAR, Nadcap and customer requirements.
