Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 1st shift at our Irvine, CA facility. You will perform receiving, in-process, and final dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace components and assemblies to ensure conformance to drawings and quality specs.

The role requires hands-on use of calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and other inspection tools, with emphasis on AS9102, DFAR, Nadcap knowledge, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in aerospace quality inspection.
• Experience performing receiving, in-process and final inspections per drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of AS9102 and DFAR/Nadcap requirements is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, specs, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies.
• Review and accept paperwork and documentation for product acceptance.
• Generate inspection reports to support acceptance or rejection of products.
• Utilize inspection tools and equipment to verify conformance to drawings and specs.
• Adhere to internal and external quality requirements and customer purchase orders.
