Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Windsor, CT to lead quality assurance activities for turbine engine components. You will drive problem solving, audits, and process improvements across manufacturing and repair operations.

The role requires a mechanical/aerospace engineering background and 7+ years in quality engineering, with RCCA/DMAIC proficiency and strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 7+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace preferred.
• Strong problem solving and DMAIC capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives and promote a culture of quality.
• Perform audits of quality management processes and supplier interfaces.
• Provide technical support to internal/external customers.
• Collaborate with production and development teams to ensure supply and introduce new products.
• Develop robust corrective actions to reduce rework and defects.
• Maintain site accreditations and drive continuous improvement.
