Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to shape and deploy the QMS during ramp-up for the Flexrotor program in Bingen, WA. The role is onsite (90%) and targets reducing non-quality costs in a mature aerospace environment.

You will drive defect analysis, lead corrective actions, and establish RCCA plans while mentoring teams in a high-impact setting with FAA/AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Eight or more years of technical experience or quality experience.
• Experience on operational teams using quality processes in mature production environments.
• US Person status under ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the Quality Management System (QMS) during ramp-up.
• Lead data-driven defect analysis and RCCA plans.
• Develop dashboards and visual management tools to monitor quality.
• Support Nonconformity Management data analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily to monthly quality performance reporting.
• Collaborate with design, production, and inspection teams to improve quality.
