Job summary

Element is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support and improve the QMS at Rancho Dominguez. You will work under the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100 and Nadcap across calibration and testing services.

You will engage with clients and accreditation bodies, drive quality improvements, and help maintain accreditations and related regulatory requirements to strengthen Element’s leadership in materials testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100 and Nadcap environments is a prerequisite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house calibrations on measurement equipment.
• Support maintenance and scope extension of accreditations (ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100, Nadcap).
• Maintain QMS controls and ensure effective implementation across operations.
• Drive a culture of Quality Assurance and continuous improvement.
• Assist in assessments and respond to findings within required timelines.
