Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering in Irvine, CA seeks a Quality Engineer to support QC/QA and ensure compliance with AS9100D, AS9102, ISO13485 and customer requirements. You will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and systems, participating in root cause analysis, CAPA, MRB dispositions, and PPAPs.

This role collaborates with engineering and operations to develop PFMEAs, DFMEA, and control plans, lead audits, mentor inspection staff, and provide data-driven KPI reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 8 years of quality engineering experience in aerospace, defense or highly regulated environments.
• Expert knowledge of AS9100D and AS9102 requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with MRB, CAPA, RCA, FAIRs, customer audits and supplier quality.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• US aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and continual improvement of the AS9100D / ISO13485 quality management system.
• Lead supplier quality investigations and coordinate supplier corrective actions requests (SCARS) as necessary.
• Review and support disposition activities related to CARs, NCRs, MRBs, RMAs, FAIRs, source inspections, and validation efforts.
• Ensure quality control procedures, standards and specifications are up to date and meet the requirements of applicable industry standards.
• Design, develop, and implement quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating data, processes, and compliance risks.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts and make recommendations that impact product quality and business operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment; promote a positive work environment.
