Job summary

Alleima Special Metals in Kennewick, WA seeks a Quality Engineer to drive QMS processes, risk assessment, and validation across aerospace and medical tube manufacturing. You will lead quality planning for new and existing products and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Laboratory and customers.

You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least four years in quality engineering; ASQ or Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 4+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support quality planning for new and existing products.
• Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance.
• Investigate quality issues, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor quality and process performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Laboratory and customers to address quality concerns.
• Support audits and maintain traceability documentation.
