Job summary

GTC in Reading, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the quality process for government/aerospace hardware, manage nonconformances, perform root-cause analysis, and drive RCCA using 8D methodology.

You’ll participate in pre-manufacturing reviews, approve routings, support audits, and work with Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, and Business Development to ensure requirements are built into the process. Ownership For All equity offered.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of quality experience in government or aerospace manufacturing.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents with confidence; strong GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement; actual results expected.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality for specific GTC customer hardware, manage nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations and RCCA documentation using 8D methodology for customers and agencies.
• Review pre-manufacturing processes, approve routings, and ensure requirements are embedded in all steps.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and drive continuous improvement.
