Job summary

Magna Machine Co in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage all QA/QC activities for GTC customer hardware. You will drive root cause investigations, coordinate with inspectors and suppliers, and ensure timely resolution of nonconformances while upholding the GTC quality system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a mechanical, industrial or quality related field preferred.
• Training in Lean Enterprise tools.
• Training/certification in ISO 9001, AS9100, TS 16949 or related international standard(s).

Responsibilities

• Manage all quality assurance/control activities for GTC customer hardware, including interaction with GTC associates in other areas and inspectors.
• Lead RCCA and 8D based root cause investigations, and coordinate SCAR submissions to customers and suppliers.
• Monitor adherence to the GTC quality system and drive improvements with the quality team.
• Support projects and initiatives that deliver continuous value to customers.
