Job summary

CMI Group in Tempe is seeking a Quality Audit Specialist for a full-time, onsite role. The candidate will perform internal audits, generate NCRs, and drive corrective actions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The position requires strong knowledge of FAIRS, PPAP, APQP, and at least 5 years of aerospace experience. US Person per ITAR is mandatory. A technical Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAIRS, inspection, PPAP and APQP required.
• Analytical problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team or independently as needed.
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace experience.
• US Person requirement due to ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and assess processes.
• Generate and disposition NCRs.
• Lead RCCA, 8D, 5 Why and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure supplier compliance and conduct audits.
• Provide training and support.
• Perform quality reviews of process planning.
• Assist in quality clinics and nonconforming material disposition.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
