Job summary

NMG Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 responsible for receiving, in-process, and final inspections to meet customer specs and quality requirements. You will determine part conformity and ensure parts are suitable for use.

Qualifications

• Competency with metrology equipment.
• Ability to read aerospace, military, and manufacturing specifications.
• Maintain paperwork, documents, certificates, and records.
• Pass pre-employment screening and medical exams as required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Inspect/audit product using basic measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with part and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret aerospace, military, and manufacturing specifications and basic prints.
• Review, control and maintain paperwork, documents, certs, and records.
• Process DMRs.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete required training and adhere to safety protocols, including PPE.
