Job summary

CMI Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality function for a multisite defense/aerospace operation. You will set quality strategy, ensure AS9100 and NADCAP compliance, drive COPQ reduction, and serve as the primary contact for customer and supplier quality matters.

You will lead a team of Quality Engineers, Inspectors, CMM technicians, and programmers, partnering with Engineering and Manufacturing to meet site objectives. This is an on-site role based in Tempe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quality Systems Management.
• Minimum 10 years managing a Quality department in defense/aerospace.
• Proven knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute strategic Quality direction for multisite operation.
• Lead COPQ reduction initiatives and supplier quality improvements.
• Manage Quality Eng., Inspectors, and CMM teams across sites.
• Own CRM for customer complaints, NCRs, RCCA, and audits.
• Maintain AS9100 certification and ensure ITAR compliance.
