Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee in-process verification and drive continuous improvement on the Stennis Test/NASSA-ready Terran R program. You will collaborate with Test, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure compliant, reliable parts and assemblies through AS9100/QMS processes and rigorous inspection methods.

The role requires 3+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, a solid aerospace quality background, and experience with PLM/MES/ERP/QMS software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other STEM field required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, NASA quality standards or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-process build verification and issue ticketing to ensure quality.
• Review work instructions and develop corrective action plans for process improvements.
• Support QMS with AS9100 and related policy deployment across the Test and Launch team.
• Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Hardware Responsible Engineering to meet objectives.
• Analyze data in QE workflows to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
