Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Quality Engineer to own design standardization, DFM, and configuration control across the Terran R program. You will coordinate with design, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure robust quality from development to production.

Ideal candidates have aerospace manufacturing experience, GD&T expertise, and strong communication skills to drive process improvements and first-time quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other STEM field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience acting as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, production and test personnel.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and aerospace manufacturing/assembly practices.

Responsibilities

• Owns design standardization, DFM, and configuration management and control.
• Reviews work instructions, develops processes, and documents repairs.
• Supports in-process build verification and coordination of travelled work.
• Leads initiatives to improve quality across the Terran R program.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Additive, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams to meet objectives.
