Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. seeks a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen reliability across the Terran R program. You will own design-related quality activities, drive process development, and coordinate in-process verification with engineering, manufacturing, test, and launch teams.

A background in aerospace manufacturing and GD&T is required, with strong cross-team collaboration. The role emphasizes ownership, fast-paced problem solving, and contributing to a growing launch vehicle program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience as a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, production and test personnel.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing/complex assembly practices and quality processes/controls.
• Working knowledge of PLM/MES/ERP/QMS software and GD&T proficiency.
• Ability to set goals and manage projects; strong communication to teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of design-related tasks: drawing standardization, DFMs, and configuration management.
• Planning activities: review of work instructions, process development, and documentation for rework/repair.
• Manufacturing support: in-process build verification and coordination of travelled work.
• Lead quality initiatives: specification development, walk-down checklists, and automation for quality inspection.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Additive, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams to meet program objectives.
