Job summary

Relativity Space seeks a seasoned quality engineer to oversee build verification, issue workflows, and non-conformance management for the Terran R program. You will drive quality improvements across Test and Launch, Manufacturing, and hardware teams, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and related standards.

You will analyze data, lead corrective actions, and communicate risks and status to leadership, with travel and occasional non-standard hours as needed to support operations at Cape Canaveral

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality management, or related manufacturing quality role.
• Experience leading or completing complex projects by coordinating across technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-process build verification and issue ticket workflows.
• Develop and improve quality processes; prepare standardized rework and repair documentation.
• Support AS9100 QMS by collaborating with the QMS team on policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Test and Launch, Manufacturing, and Hardware Responsible Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate findings, risks, and project status clearly to team members and leadership.
