Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer for the Stennis Test team in Mississippi. You will oversee in-process verification, non-conformance management, and documentation to ensure flight readiness of Terran R components.

The role requires a solid foundation in aerospace manufacturing and quality systems. Qualifications include a BS in Engineering and 3+ years as a Quality Engineer, with knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and PLM/MES/ERP/QMS software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (AS9100, ISO 9001, NASA quality standards).
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing/complex assembly practices and quality controls.
• Knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP and QMS software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-process build verification and issue ticket processes.
• Manage non-conformance and root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Support QMS activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
• Communicate findings and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Occasional night shifts, weekends, and travel as needed.
