Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Quality Engineer for the Stennis, Mississippi site to oversee in-process build verification, non-conformance management, and QMS compliance on aerospace hardware. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within the Stennis Test team, contributing to flight readiness.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or a STEM field.
• 3+ years as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, NASA quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing/complex assembly practices and quality controls.
• Familiarity with PLM, MES, ERP and QMS software.

Responsibilities

• Oversight: in-process build verification, issue ticketing, as-built verification, non-conformance management while meeting goals and project objectives.
• Planning: review work instructions, develop processes, corrective actions, standard rework/repair documentation, drive quality initiatives.
• QMS Support: collaborate with the QMS team to develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Collaboration: build relationships with Test and Launch, Manufacturing, and Hardware Responsible Engineering to meet company objectives and communicate to leadership.
• Analysis: use data and QE workflows to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
