Job summary

Kovoro’s Wichita facility, a Tier 1 aerospace structures manufacturer, seeks a Quality Engineer to own quality on production programs. You will lead FAIRs, manage NCR dispositions, and drive corrective actions, plus perform supplier audits and support customer inspections.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in aerospace QE, strong AS9100/AS9102/RCCA knowledge, and GD&T/CMM skills; CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, RCCA methodologies.
• Experience with CMM programming and GD&T interpretation.
• ASQ CQE certification or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality authority on assigned production programs.
• Lead FAIR development and manage NCR disposition and root cause actions.
• Perform supplier quality audits and support customer source inspections.
• Lead internal AS9100 audit activities and drive continuous improvement using APQP and PFMEA.
