Job summary

Molex, a global leader in electronic solutions, is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing operations in the aerospace & defense space. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, customers, and suppliers to strengthen quality systems and drive corrective actions for robust product performance.

The role requires a strong technical foundation, independent problem solving, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with root cause analysis, FMEA, control plans, SPC, CAPA.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical docs.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain systems to monitor and improve product and process quality.
• Lead investigations of product, process, and customer quality issues using structured RCA methods.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection methods, control plans, and quality metrics.
• Analyze process data and quality trends to identify risks and drive CI initiatives.
• Lead MRB activities, including defect evaluation and disposition recommendations.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to improve process capability and reliability.
• Evaluate measurement systems and ensure calibration and effectiveness of equipment.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
• Drive CAPA to address nonconformances and systemic quality concerns.
• Support NPI, process changes, and validation activities to ensure quality requirements.
