Job summary

Hanwha Materials Savannah LLC, a leading aerospace and transportation components manufacturer, seeks a Documentation Specialist to manage non-conforming materials and documentation. You will coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to ensure proper archiving, tracking, and reporting of material status and process improvements.

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are required, with experience in GD&T and blueprints preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
• Strong initiative and curiosity; willingness to ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit customer concession packages.
• Report site quality metrics (First Pass Yield, scrap rates).
• Liaise between engineering, quality, and supply chain to document non-conformances.
• Track product flow and documentation through processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Create, review, and update procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain a safe, organized workstation and comply with policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
