Applied Aerospace & Defense in Santa Ana is seeking a Quality Documentation Specialist to generate, revise, scan, index and archive Quality Documentation for aerospace components in line with Customer, Internal and Industry standards.

Pay range is $23.00 to $28.00 per hour. The role requires 0-2 years inspection experience, AS9102 knowledge, and ability to read blueprints and technical data. Full‑time position in Santa Ana with background check and drug screening required.

Qualifikationen

• Must read and write in English language
• Ability to read blue prints, interpreting technical data, industry specifications, material specifications, and customer specification requirements
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and outside processes such as machining, heat treat, welding, NDT.
• Computer skills - Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office Suite required
• Knowledge of QMS documentation requirements per AS9100.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and basic visual acuity exam (near vision 20/30 or better in at least one eye, natural or corrected).

Description

The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for generating, revising, scanning, indexing and archiving various forms of Quality Documentation for a diversified line of Aerospace components and assemblies in accordance with Customer, Internal and Industry Standard requirements.

Pay Range: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Familiar with CMM inspection reports and data
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking with sufficient ease to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with use of customer portal to submit FAI documentation
• Experience with lean methodologies such as 5S, 5 Whys and A3 etc
• Ability to read blue prints, interpreting technical data, industry specifications, material specifications, and customer specification requirement
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and outside processes such as machining, heat treat, welding, NDT.
