Job summary

A1J Technologies LLC seeks a Director of Quality to lead the Quality Management System, product conformity, and customer compliance for aerospace and defense ambitions.

You will transform the Quality organization into a proactive, process-driven function supporting a Tier 1 supplier role, with independent product acceptance authority and a focus on defect prevention and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Master's degree preferred in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration.
• Demonstrated experience leading Quality Management Systems and audits.
• Proven ability to establish nonconforming product controls and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of the QMS (AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Provide executive leadership over Quality Systems, QC, Inspection, Metrology, and Calibration.
• Drive customer quality conformity and supplier quality coordination.
• Own corrective actions, risk assessments, and KPI reporting to executives.
• Ensure product acceptance authority and compliance with regulatory requirements.
