Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, KS, seeks a seasoned Quality professional to serve as Customer Quality Representative (CQS), coordinating non-conformances with customers and driving quality improvements across programs.

You will review sensitive issues, attend customer meetings, and apply government regulations to develop long-range inspection plans, anticipate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in a quality discipline, preferably in inspection, aerospace, or manufacturing
• Working with engineering drawings and customer specification
• MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) experience

Aufgaben

• Represent Spirit as a Customer Quality Representative (CQS) and coordinate non-conformances with the customer and provide visibility.
• Review all non-conformances that may be sensitive (CSI) to the customer and end user.
• Attend, interface and present data during customer meetings.
• Apply knowledge of quality policies and governmental regulations to develop and administer long-range customer inspection plans, acting as agent/designee for customer, to meet contractual and other requirements.
• Plan and coordinate improvements in manufacturing, e.g., hardware and tool acceptance, variability reduction, developing key suppliers, and assembly operations.
• Perform design reviews to ensure quality is engineered into the product and tool.
• Apply knowledge of engineering to analyze requirements of contracts, drawings, and specifications to develop plans for quality disciplines in processes.
• Perform configuration audits and reviews of products, tools, and processes.
• Compile, measure and analyze process capability data, models to perform trend analyses and risk assessments.
• Utilize root cause analysis to plan and coordinate process improvements.
• Ensure sequenced inspection control points and maintain inspection accountability systems.
• Identify, evaluate and implement preventative measures and corrective actions and present findings.
• Provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System and Manufacturing Verification Process.
