Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a seasoned Quality professional to audit processes, review products and drive CMI improvements. You will provide technical expertise, coach teams on the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with contract, regulatory and customer requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in quality leadership or specialist roles, strong communication, and cross‑functional collaboration. Union‑represented position with a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Quality, in a Specialist, Quality Engineer or Management role.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Good communication skills and basic engineering blueprint/ specification understanding.
• Experience working across departments and with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Audit policies, processes and procedures for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Review products, processes, equipment and measurement systems for quality.
• Conduct quality system/process reviews and provide customer interface.
• Develop or apply statistical process improvement methods.
• Educate and coach on the Quality Management System.
