Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Quality role in Kansas to audit, review, and improve quality systems across departments and suppliers. You will apply SPC methods, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality in a Specialist, Quality Engineer, or Management role.
• Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Strong communication skills and cross-department collaboration.
• Basic engineering blueprint/specification understanding.
• Experience working with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Audit policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with contracts and standards.
• Research via benchmarking against industry standards.
• Perform quality system/process reviews and drive preventive/corrective actions.
• Review products, processes, equipment and measurement systems.
• Develop or apply Statistical Process Control methods.
• Provide technical expertise to staff, suppliers, customers and regulators.
• Ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory quality requirements.
• Educate and coach on the Quality Management System.
