Job summary

Northrop Grumman in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Quality Control Technician – Level 2 or Level 3. This 100% onsite role focuses on verification of requirements for operations, products, and documents, with GD&T knowledge and CMM experience. Flexible travel 10% and a 9/80 schedule.

You will interface with AOX teams, suppliers, and customers; review tests, develop quality plans, and support safety and reliability verifications. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and related experience required for Level 2.
• High School diploma or equivalent and related experience required for Level 3.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verify optical, ceramic, and mechanical components and sub-systems.
• Verify electrical assemblies and wiring harnesses.
• Propose verification/test methods and SPC procedures for product reliability.
• Review and verify testing methods and results.
• Witness and verify product performance testing.
• Develop safety documents to support customer/test requirements.
• Design and implement Quality plans for incoming product verification.
• Perform product safety and EMI testing as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on quality issues.
• Travel to Devens facility or supplier sites as needed.
