Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer at either Level 3 or Level 4 to support design, fabrication, and inspection of aerospace materials and hardware. This 100% onsite role in Corrine, UT interfaces with suppliers and government customers, requiring autonomous work and travel.

The position emphasizes supplier quality systems, corrective actions, and risk management across program phases, with a strong emphasis on compliance and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
• Assure supplier process and product quality, including contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance.
• Interface with supplier personnel and assess supplier quality and manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Develop inspection criteria for supplier inspection plans and receiving inspection plans.
• Conduct product and process verification activities and monitor supplier quality against established metrics.
• Drive root cause corrective action analysis for supplier quality issues.
• Support maintenance of the approved supplier list and review supplier performance.
• Manage supplier requests for waivers, deviations and discrepancy reporting.
