Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Control Technician – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team in East Hartford, CT. This 100% onsite role will support verification of requirements for operations, products and processes, with strong GD&T knowledge and multi-program responsibilities.

The position reports to the Quality Lab Supervisor and requires excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams. Two levels are available based on experience, with travel to supplier sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years related education/experience.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machinery (CMM).

Responsibilities

• Verify optical, ceramic and mechanical components and sub-systems.
• Review and verify testing methods and results; witness product performance testing.
• Compile data and define changes required in design, test equipment or processes.
• Develop safety documents to support customer/test requirements.
• Design and implement Quality plans for incoming product quality.
• Perform product safety and EMI testing on systems.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and first article qualifications.
• Support MRB and supplier evaluations.
