Job summary

Aviatron, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to assist the Chief Inspector in maintaining FAA compliance and quality management across the repair station.

You will help review procedures, track non-conformances, and support audits with an emphasis on safety and reliability for regional jet components. The role requires at least 3 years in aerospace inspection, familiarity with CFR parts 43, 65, and 145, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years aerospace inspection experience.
• Familiar with 14 CFR 43, 65 and 145 requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support FAA and customer requirements and quality system processes.
• Review and revise inspection/maintenance documentation and SOPs as needed.
• Document and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs/CARs).
• Track warranty claims and report trends to leadership.
• Assist in maintaining training programs and calibration tooling schedules.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures during audits.
• Participate in investigations and corrective actions; support CAPA efforts.
• Contribute to SOP development and shop equipment maintenance programs.
• Assist in CARs analytical reviews and risk reduction.
• Provide backup support to the Chief Inspector as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Inspector.
