Job summary

King Aerospace seeks a Chief Inspector to lead the Quality Assurance group in Bentonville, AR. You will supervise inspectors, ensure compliance with RSQCM, TPM, and ISO/AS9110, and serve as the regulatory liaison to FAA and authorities.

The role requires FAA A&P and IA qualifications, extensive aviation experience, and the ability to manage audits, training, and regulatory documentation in a fast-paced repair environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with aviation experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of aviation experience across multiple aircraft types.
• At least 10 years as Chief Inspector or Quality Supervisor in heavy maintenance/repair.
• Must meet FAA Chief Inspector qualifications under 14 CFR Part 145.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Assurance and oversee Inspection Department operations.
• Ensure RSQCM, TPM, Operations Manual and ISO/AS9110 compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and report FAA defects or non-airworthy conditions.
• Oversee calibration, audits, training, and regulatory records.
