Job summary
Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior NPI Quality Engineer to lead quality planning and execution across the product development lifecycle. You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers to ensure aerospace products are developed and transitioned to production with top quality and reliability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field is required.
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality activities throughout product development, qualification, and production launch.
- Interpret customer and contractual quality requirements and ensure flow-down across the organization.
- Support design reviews and influence product development through quality, manufacturing, and risk-based decision making.
- Drive APQP activities and support AS9145-compliant product development processes.
- Develop and implement inspection strategies for receiving, manufacturing, assembly, test, and final inspection operations.
- Lead statistical analysis, process monitoring, variation reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct failure investigations and support root cause and corrective action activities.
- Support qualification testing, conformity inspections, PPAP documentation, and production readiness activities.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Drive product and process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
