Job summary

BETA Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Inspection Technician, Structures for weekend shifts in Vermont. The role focuses on inspecting and testing to ensure conformance with engineering data, documenting results, identifying defects, and reporting quality issues to prevent nonconforming items from reaching production.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and is proficient with precision measurement tools and GD&T, with experience in aerospace manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience performing dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks.
• Proficient with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections & testing per inspection work instructions in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Retrieve and interpret technical documents.
• Interpret technical documents and develop inspection work instructions.
• Enter inspection results into ERP and create reports as needed.
• Communicate technical requirements to shop personnel.
• Assign traceability to incoming raw material, quarantine, and scrap components.
• Prioritize workflow and maintain measuring equipment.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety requirements.
